Your giving has made it possible for us to make such a significant impact in the health sector of our nation during this crucial time when the health sector lacks in medical supplies. Dr. Niroshi, who heads the Charity Arm of this ministry is instrumental in making us aware of the lack of such medical needs.
The continued giving of our partners, enables our Charity arm to distribute dry rations to 100 of the most needy families from our Negombo branch, who reside in Kandy. Fulfilling the vision of the Man of God, they successfully completed this mission and thank everyone who volunteered.
The charity arm was able to hand over 120 spectacles to the Mahara prisoners who were tested at the eye clinic conducted during the month of March. Thank you for giving towards the charity arm that enables us to bless countless lives.
Thank you Partners for enabling and equipping us to carry the love of Jesus far beyond the walls of the church. In March, through your sacrificial giving, with Prophet's instruction, we were able to construct a new house for the Douglas family. The Patriarch and the Matriarch of the ministry, Pastor Jayalath and Pastor Wendy joined this joyous occasion as we worshipped and blessed the home.
The faithful giving of our Partners enabled our Charity arm led by Doctor Niroshi to conduct an eye clinic at the Mahara Prison. 120 prisoners were tested out of which 110 were recommended the use of spectacles. We are glad to announce that because of your partnership that we will be donating the spectacles in April.
Prophet Jerome Fernando Ministries continued to show the love of God through our charity arm led by Dr. Niroshi Handunettige. We were able to donate a photocopy machine to the Owitigala Maha Vidyalaya which enables them to print exam papers and school notes for students during lockdown periods due to the unavailability of devices to do online classes. We thank our partners who enable us bless countless lives.
Prophet Jerome Fernando Ministries continue to spread the love of God through our charity arm, we have paid two-year school fees of 203 students from grades 6-13 of the Owitigala Maha Vidyalaya in Mathugama. Thank you to all our partners who have enabled us to carry out the vision of the Man of God.
Two "High Flow Oxygen Machines" were donated to the National hospital of Sri Lanka on the 29th of September. The charity arm headed by Dr. Niroshi carried out this through the donations received from the PJFM Covid relief charity.
We continue to carry out this charity arm led by Dr Niroshi Handunnettige in donating needed supplies, to support the COVID recovery in the country. Six High Dependency Unit beds were donated to the extended COVID centre managed by the National Hospital situated in Meethotamulla, Dematagoda to reduce the burden on the National Hospital.
Our Charity arm headed by Dr. Niroshi Handunnettige was able to do the second round of furniture distribution to the Welikada Prison Headquarters. We were able to contribute books written by Prophet Jerome, among other books, to the prison's library.
We have carried out Covid relief efforts through our charity arm led by Dr. Niroshi Handunnettige. We contributed cardiac monitors with maintenance provided by us.
We also donated wheelchairs to a ward that had none, at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH).
We will be continuing to support the IDH with further equipment in the coming days.
As a ministry that follows the heart of Jesus, it is our privilege to reach out to those incarcerated in the prisons.
After discussing with the respective officials and identifying the needs and urgent requirements,
we were able to extend our generosity through our donations to the prison. We plan to make regular donations going forward.
Especially during a time of difficulty due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were able to raise funds and allocate charity donations for those affected. Some funds went into Mercy Donations.
We also raised donations for outstation Pastors.
Funds were further accrued to support the Rising Ruths Ministry, through which we have blessed and sown into the lives of widows and single mothers.
