A tithe is a minimum of one-tenth of everything that we receive. Giving back to God through tithing is an acknowledgement of His Lordship over our lives; God is the source and owner of all things, and everything we have and own comes from Him. A tithe is a sacred portion that belongs to the Lord God Almighty. All other forms of giving are above the tithe.
Tithing is an act of obedience and faith that invokes God’s immeasurable blessings, and it is the only time in the Scriptures when God challenges to be tested and He is no debtor. Honour the Lord with your substance cheerfully and live a blessed life.
Malachi 3:10, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”.
